Bridge Is More Than a Card Game

IMPROVER LESSONS! 🖥️🃏

In addition to our beginners lessons on Thursday mornings, we’re now offering improver lessons on the first Friday of the month at 10.30am. Topics can be requested, followed by questions and playing boards. Usual table money and no partner needed. Next session will be on 5th June.

In April we celebrated the opening of our doors 70 years ago. The club’s beginnings actually date back to 1952 when a handful of people played bridge in local cafés and bars. A generous benefactor bought the bungalow on Pembroke Road and it was converted into a bridge club. It’s now a thriving club with 200 members.
