Boots UK store in Milford on Sea is a great supporter of the foodbank.

The have The Hygiene Bank drop off point in the store and we frequently receive messages to let us know it’s full and we can collect the hygiene products donated by customers (and sometimes the store itself).

This week we collected 62.3Kg of products 😳😳😳😳😳

That’s a lot of bars of soap, bottles of shower gel and sanitary items (amongst other things).

Thank you so much for your continued support and especially to Charlotte Whiteside who drives this initiative with her fabulous team.

Easter is nearly upon us and we'd like to say thank you to everyone that has dropped off chocolate goodies for us to share with our clients.

1st Barton Beaver Scouts collected a large number of chocolate eggs and other Easter goodies. Thanks to the Beavers and their parents for the generous donations 🐣

Jamie & Liam from Priestlands School and their dad, Mark dropped off a donation of Easter eggs which they bought from the supermarket 🐣

There is still time to donate if you can - please drop off any Easter donations to the foodbank early next week to give us time to send them to our clients in their food parcels.

Every Christmas we try and send out an advent calendar for all the children receiving a food parcel 🎅🏻🎅🏻

We don’t have anywhere near enough yet this year 😔

If you are able to help us out, could you donate as many advent calendars as you possibly can to the Foodbank please 🙏🏻

Ideally in the next week so the children have them ready for 1st December.

Foodbank Takeover 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

On Thursday last week we had a team of 4 from RWD in Beaulieu volunteering in the food bank, packing and being greengrocers. Huge thanks to them and to our volunteers, Lesley and Vicki for coming in to train them.

The team from said they really enjoyed themselves and were very grateful.

We have a number of brown paper bags at the foodbank which we can’t use and rather than throw them away we would like to offer them out to whoever would like them.

They are 400 x 160 x 440mm

There are 125 in a pack and we have about 15 packs.

FIRST COME FIRST SERVED - no reserving.

Collection this week from the foodbank from 9.30am but before 2.45pm 🙂
