Lydd Youth Set - updated 2024 Lydd Youth Set is a charity providing a safe space for young people to socialise.

*Treasurer needed*

We need someone to take on the role of Treasurer at Lydd Youth Set. This is an important role but can be done outside of club night hours, so could suit someone who wants to help but can't commit to specific hours.

The treasurer is responsible for keeping track of expenses (writing down what money comes in and goes out of the bank account) and ideally internet searching for possible grants available that could help Lydd Youth Set.

Years 4-6, you are simply the greatest! What an awesome bunch of people you are.

I've loved Monday evenings with you all, I've known many of you since nursery and it's been lovely seeing you again over the last couple of years.

Thank you for supporting Lydd Youth Set, we hope you enjoyed your time with us and fingers crossed for a new committee to be formed so the fun can continue!

If your child has money left in their pot, you can collect between 6&7:30pm this Thursday. Any money not collected will be classed as a donation to Lydd Youth Set.

Volunteers, thank you doesn't say enough! Honestly, you're all so brilliant! Xx

And that's a wrap for years 1-3. You are an amazing group of young people, each one growing in confidence and it's been great seeing the fun they have with their friends and the volunteers. We've enjoyed laughter, team games, chats (especially about football and who you're supporting in the world cup), discussions about what goodies to buy at Tuck shop and applied a copious of cold packs, plasters and still have time for "one more quick game"

To the 1-3 volunteers, thank you. We wouldn't have Lydd Youth Set without you. You are all incredible and I'm so grateful that you come along after a long day at work to help provide a place for the children to play.
Thank you for the last two years (and beyond for some of you). I couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you so much for supporting Lydd Youth Set, we hope a new committee can be formed to carry on the legacy.

*Edit* we are open next Monday for years 4-6, if your child has any left over money for Tuck Shop that you'd like to collect, please come at 7:30. If not, the money will be banked as a donation.

This is an important announcement..

Lydd Youth Set is looking for new committee members: Chairperson, Vice chairperson, treasurer, secretary, and maintenance person.

I am standing down as chairperson for personal reasons.

I couldn't have done the last two years without the amazing support from the best volunteers I could ever have wished for and the supportive trustees, thank you all so much.

Lydd Youth Set will not open after the summer holidays. We need a new committee to be voted in to steer the youth set ship. So if you fancy being part of the history of LYS, please let me know.

I want to thank you all for your continued support and for letting us provide a safe and secure place for your children to enjoy their evenings.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of the legacy of Lydd Youth Set, we are honoured to have had this opportunity.

If you're secondary school age, you're welcome to attend. You will get wet!! (Indoors will be open if you prefer to stay dry!!)

£5 entry plus tuck shop money
