Today its Grace’s heavenly birthday.

We wanted to share some beautiful photos of the memorial garden we have created for Grace. It’s the perfect place to take a quiet moment and observe nature.
In a few short months sunflowers will pop up to fill the garden with beautiful colour 🌻

On Tuesday 21st we were invited to attend the New Romney Annual Town Meeting where we were presented with a cheque for a whopping £2,000 raised from the fundraising the mayor has done over the year through his events.💛

It has been an absolute honour to be one of the mayors charities of the year- the support and guidance we’ve received has been so useful and the amount received is absolutely amazing!

This boost of funds will help us to be able to facilitate another training date, meaning more people in the community will be trained to help young people struggling with their mental health.

We are now exploring other groups of people that may benefit from the training, such as- Police 👮 , paramedics 🚑 and sports coaches⚽️. Our next date is set for the 24th July. Take a look at the poster for more details and please get in touch and share with anyone who you think could benefit who works with young people 🫶

We would like to once again thank The Right Worshipful the Mayor of New Romney, Cllr John Rivers for selecting us as one of his charities of the year. We hope it’s just the start of a great friendship 🌻

Another 10 people trained up who have left feeling more confident being able to help a young person in a crisis, signpost a young person, spot early warning signs and generally a better understanding of mental health. Thank you all so much for coming and giving up your Saturday and thank you to Ellie our trainer 💛🌻

Yes — we talk.

Yes — sometimes someone stands up and speaks their truth.

This isn’t about being brave.
It’s about not doing life alone.

A staggering £2,317.50 meaning With Grace & With Ibby will each receive £1,158.75!
We are over the moon, not only with the final figure raised- but equally that we gave 66 children a truly magical Christmas experience.
None of this would have been possible without our amazing volunteers and generosity of our local community with the most incredible raffle prizes and ticket sales!
