💙 Can You Help Us Complete Our Playground Access Ramp? 💙

We’re looking for a local builder or tradesperson who may be able to help us install a disability access ramp into our playground.

This is paid work and we are hoping to have the ramp completed by 15th July, so we’re keen to find someone as soon as possible.

We’re also looking for someone who may be able to help with some repointing work around the building.

Every improvement we make at The Hub helps us create a more accessible and inclusive space for the children and families who use Brody’s Trust.

Parquet Flooring Available – Donations Welcome

We are carefully taking up our parquet flooring and there is still a large amount available. We are asking for a donation for the flooring, or alternatively a donation of your time to help lift and remove the remaining sections.

Drag rugby is a brillaintly bonkers mash-up of sport and sparkle. Imagine rugby but with colourful costumes, wigs flying, dramatic flair and players who can tackle and strut. Its about fun, laughter and bringing the community together for a match like no other!

💙 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THIS WEEKEND! 💙

This weekend we’ll be back at The Hub, rolling up our sleeves and cracking on with the soft play room, getting everything ready for the damp-proofing work.

We’re looking for a few extra pairs of hands on Saturday and Sunday.

🔨 Inside jobs:
✨ Lifting flooring
✨ Putting up new ceiling tiles
✨ General DIY and helping hands

☀️ Outside jobs:
🧱 Repointing stonework
😎 Soaking up a bit of sunshine while you work!

You don’t need to be a professional builder. If you’re willing to get stuck in, make a brew, carry things, or lend a hand, we’d love to have you join us.

Every hour of help gets us one step closer to opening another amazing space for the children and families who use Brody’s Trust.

So, who’s free for a few hours this weekend? Bring your enthusiasm, old clothes, and sense of humour! 💪💙

WHAT. A. DAY! ⛳🎉

We’re still smiling after an incredible day at the Ross-on-Wye Rotary Club Golf Day!

A huge shout-out to Ellie, who did an absolutely fantastic job pulling the whole event together. The hard work, dedication and passion she put into making the day a success was outstanding – thank you, Ellie! 👏💙

We’re absolutely delighted to share that an amazing £3,000 was raised for Brody’s Trust! This incredible amount will help us continue supporting children and families when they need it most.

Thank you to everyone who played, donated, sponsored, volunteered and supported the event. Your generosity and community spirit made the day truly special.

And a massive thank you to the entire Ross-on-Wye Rotary Club for choosing to support Brody’s Trust and for putting on such a fantastic event. We are so grateful for your kindness and support.

Unfortunately, we have some disappointing news... but also some exciting news! 💙
Due to circumstances outside of our control, our Drag Queen & King Rugby Takeover will no longer be taking place on 13th June as originally planned.
We know many of you were looking forward to it, and we're incredibly grateful for all the support, shares, players, volunteers and excitement that has built around the event.
The good news is that we haven't given up on it!
We're delighted to confirm that the event has now been rescheduled and will take place on:

📍 Cinderford RFC
A huge thank you to everyone who has stuck with us while we've worked through a few unexpected challenges behind the scenes, and a special thank you to Cinderford RFC for supporting us and helping make this event happen.

Our sensory room is now available for hire Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Designed to provide a calm, engaging and inclusive environment, our sensory room offers a range of sensory experiences to support children and young people with additional needs, disabilities, sensory processing difficulties, or those who simply need a safe space to relax and explore.

💙 Volunteers’ Week 💙

Today we’re sharing a video celebrating just some of the incredible people who have volunteered their time to support Brody’s Trust.

Whether they’ve helped at events, painted walls, moved furniture, served teas and coffees, cut grass, organised fundraisers, shared their skills, or simply turned up when we needed an extra pair of hands, every single one of them has helped us get to where we are today.

To all of our volunteers, past and present, thank you. Your kindness, support and belief in what we’re trying to achieve means more than you’ll ever know. We honestly thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💙
