Looking for a meaningful Father’s Day gift with a personal touch? Why not adopt one of our lovely alpacas and support Orchard Trust at the same time! 🦙

Hope, Bubbles, Primrose and Omie are some of the friendly faces you can meet here at our smallholding in the beautiful Forest of Dean. They’re full of personality and bring so much joy to the people who visit us, especially the people we support every day at Orchard Trust.

When you adopt an alpaca, you’re helping us care for our animals and maintain a welcoming space where the whole community can come together, connect with nature, and enjoy special moments with our animals.

With an annual alpaca sponsorship, you’ll receive:
- A beautiful colour alpaca card
- A personalised sponsorship certificate
- Twice-yearly updates about our alpacas

We’d also love to welcome you to visit our site, where you can meet, feed and spend time with our alpacas in person. Whether you’re popping by for a peaceful afternoon or bringing family along, everyone is welcome.

Every sponsorship and donation helps us continue supporting people and caring for our animals. Thank you for being part of our community 💚

Trampolines aren’t just for fun, they can also be life-changing therapeutic tools.

Rebound Therapy uses the gentle movement and rhythm of a trampoline to support people living with disabilities and conditions including Motor Neurone Disease (MND), cerebral palsy, autism, and spinal cord injuries.

For those living with Motor Neurone Disease, low-impact movement can help maintain mobility, flexibility, balance, and body awareness in a safe, supportive environment.

All our Rebound sessions are tailored to the individual by our qualified team, helping people move with confidence, comfort, and enjoyment.

Less than a month left to get your OrchardFest merchandise!

With only a month left until our ordering deadline on Friday, 5th July, we wanted to gently remind everyone to get their OrchardFest merchandise ordered in time!

We have a range of extra-comfy hoodies to keep you warm when the sun goes down, classic T-shirts, and fun bucket hats.

Wearing them is such a wonderful way to show your support for the Orchard Trust community. Every single penny from these sales stays right here to help fund our care homes, day services, and support work across the Forest of Dean and Gloucestershire.

The team and our residents are already getting so excited. It is going to be incredibly heartwarming to see everyone wearing their gear while we all cheer on Summer Night City, Quo-Incidence, The Forest Kelts, and all the other brilliant performers who are coming out to support us. 🎶✨

👉 Take a peek at the shop before 5th July: orchard-trust.org.uk/product-category/orchardfest-merch-2026/

This Carers Week, we want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate the incredible dedication of our care staff. Every day, they bring compassion, patience, and professionalism to the people we support, making a real and lasting difference to their lives.

Their work goes far beyond meeting needs — They provide comfort, dignity, and reassurance. They are often the familiar face that brightens someone’s day, the steady presence in difficult moments, and the kind voice that brings calm and confidence. The impact of what they do cannot be measured in tasks alone; it is felt in the wellbeing, happiness, and trust of those in their care.

We truly value the commitment, resilience, and heart our care staff bring to the role. Whether it’s through small acts of kindness or extraordinary efforts in challenging circumstances, their contributions are seen, appreciated, and deeply respected.

To all our care staff during Carers Week, and every week, we thank you for the essential work you do and the difference you make in our community.

At Trust Our Voice meeting the reps from each service were joined by Kate who was involved in the Clearwell Recreation Ground Project, she was looking to get feedback from the group about the benefits of being outside, what things they would like to see in the park/recreational grounds and what accessible features make it easier to use the space.

Great session everyone!
