Forest Pulse is a local registered charity which provides a range of exciting out-of-school, social opportunities for disabled children and young people of the Forest of Dean.

Whilst there is lots of fun being had downstairs this week at Forest Pulse HQ, we thought we would reflect on a busy few weeks at Weekend Activity Club 😀

Weekend Activity Club happens every other Saturday between 10am and 3pm, term time only.
For our members aged 6 - 25 💚

Our Saturdays usually have a theme and activities are arranged to suit attendees interests and sensory needs.

Last Thursday we kicked off some spooky activities with our Youth Club 🧟‍♂️

I think we can all agree the staff did a great job and our young people had a great time 🎃

We cannot wait to see what everyone gets upto this week during activities 🧙

A huge thank you to Joe Lewis who completed his back yard ultra marathon on October 10th.

He has raised an amazing £810 for Forest Pulse 👏

This Sunday we have our 5 aside tournament with The Lamb Inn, Mitcheldean and Mitcheldean Sports Club kicking off at 1pm!

Please come along and support the Forest Pulse team. They are a mixture of staff and parents looking to take home the Winners title !!!!

It should be a really lovely couple of hours raising money and awarness for Forest Pulse.

We have been so grateful to recieve some wonderful prizes for our Christmas Raffle so far already 🎄

Float in the Forest - Feel Good & Enjoy Life have generously donated a float voucher for us to have as a prize.

Float in the Forest is a floatation centre based here in the Forest of Dean between Whitecroft and Bream.

You float on the surface of warm water saturated with Epsom salt (550kg of it!). Due to the buoyancy there is no pressure on your body, so all your muscles can relax and let go of tension. In the absence of stimulation, your mind can drift off into peace and quiet. The pod is spacious, about the same size as a double bed, and you are in control of the pod light and door. Floating can help with stress relief, pain relief (eg back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia and so on), sports rehabilitation and more. Many people use it as an aid to meditation, others just for fun and relaxation.

We are pleased to announce and give a huge thanks to the Forest Voluntary Action Forum - FVAF Youth Development team who recently awarded us £3000 for our Youth Club.

This is going to make such a huge impact to the equipment and the resources within our Youth Club!
