For Parents and Carers in the Forest of Dean :)

This afternoon we will be in Lydney with Gloucestershire Gateway Trust for a Parent Support Group.

These sessions are an opportunity to join us and other Parent Carers to share stories, experiences and knowledge.

We are here to be the voice of Parent Carers to Services.

Please do keep an eye out for any updates or changes to venues and or times.

🦁💛 FOREST WARRIOR 2026 – TEAM GOLDEN LION 💛🦁

Well… we’ve officially lost the plot! 🤦‍♀️😂

On 19th July, Team Golden Lion will be taking on the Forest Warrior obstacle course in aid of Forest Pulse, supporting children & young people with disabilities & their families.

We’re not runners.
We’re not athletes.
Some of us struggle getting off the sofa without making a noise! 🤣

But we’re doing it anyway!

💪 We will enter as a team.
💪 We will finish as a team.
💪 We will be covered in mud as a team.
💪 We will probably question our life choices as a team.
💪 And hopefully… we’ll finish as a team!

Every penny raised will help Forest Pulse continue their amazing work supporting local families across our community.

We hope your first few days back after half term have been good.

We had a fantastic week with our members, over 35 individuals accessed our activity days during the course of the week and participated in -

Blueberry Cheesecake Day 🫐

Plant Day 🪴

Flip Flop Day 🩴

Scavenger Hunt Day 🗺

A lot of fun, creativity and exploration was had during the week 🥰

We hope you are all having a fabulous half term.

All our members this week are enjoying their activites in our fully air conditoned space 🌬

Just a reminder that anyone can enter our count the ducks in a jar competition, but Hannah will be around this afternoon for any parents/carers who wish to take a guess when picking up their child or young person.

Thank you Hayley & Sasha for showcasing the ducks and the chocolate prize. The winner will take home both. 🦆

£1 per guess, closest to the actual number wins. Competition finishes on 8th of June 2026.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Julie Kent Mbe to Forest Pulse at the start of the week.

We talked about all things fundraising, about our members and what Forest Pulse does on a day to day basis. Julie is a very busy lady but she always makes time for charities and organisations around Gloucestershire.
