Spaces available at 4th Stopsley Rainbows & Brownies!

We’re excited to share that we currently have spaces in both of our lovely units — and we’d love to welcome some new faces!

👭 Rainbows (ages 4–7) - Wednesdays
A fun, friendly introduction to Girlguiding where girls can build confidence, make friends, and try new things through games, crafts, and adventures.

👭 Brownies (ages 7–10) - Thursdays
A brilliant next step where girls grow in independence, learn new skills, take on challenges, and have lots of fun along the way!

If you know a girl who would love to be part of something special, please get in touch using the email on the adverts 📩

5th Stopsley Rainbows and Brownies are on the move. These unit meetings are transferring to meet at Wigmore Church & Community Centre AKA Newlands on Crawley Green Road after the school Easter holidays.

Do you want to be a hero?

WANTED: Volunteer Marshalls for the Love Luton RunFest 2025 THIS SUNDAY!!!

Love Luton is running its 12th Anniversary Race, on Sunday 12th October 2025 - can you help?

We have provided volunteers for this event for a couple of years now. It is a fun morning. You can come along as an adult, or bring some Brownies or Guides along with you. You will get allocated a station, and will spend the morning cheering along the runners coming past. You can bring whistles, or other musical instruments along, to help encourage the runners along their way.

We are normally stationed in/around Wardown Park.

I know Hannah Jeans has already appealed, but I have had contact from the Love Luton chair earlier today, asking if we can provide a few more marshalls please.

If you can/would like to volunteer, please let either me, Jean Weir, or Hannah Jeans know, so we can get you the details of where to meet, what time etc.

Yay 🎉 🥳 🙌 big CONGRATULATIONS to us - we only went and won first prize!!!

Thank you to Mark from STRAW Scarecrow Festival who popped up to see Tina with a trophy.

We’d like to thank all those of you that gave up your time to help both with the prep events and on the weekend itself - you all helped the girls have a great time.

Even though the scarecrow festival is still in full swing we thought we’d mention the ‘C’ word. Yes ssshhhhh Christmas. But if you’d like to make a festive wreath for your door this Christmas why not join us on 5th December. Details in poster below and advertised at Haverings. Tina who is leading the session is also on site today to answer any questions.
