Back to school… and back to guiding! 💙

From catching up with friends and making new ones to learning new skills, taking on challenges and creating unforgettable memories there’s so much to look forward to at guiding this term.

Whether you’re heading back as a Rainbow, Brownie, Guide, Ranger or volunteer, we can’t wait to see you!

A huge thank you to our fantastic team of volunteers from Luton South Division who spent this morning helping at the water station for the Stopsley Striders running event. 💙💧

It was an early start, but plenty of smiles, encouragement and cups of water kept the runners going as they tackled the course in the heat. We’re always proud to support local community events and to see our volunteers giving their time to help others.

Well done to everyone who took part in the run, and thank you to Stopsley Striders for organising another brilliant event! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️👏

Come along and find us Raynham way community centre summer fete to find out more 😊

Come one, Come all for this years Summer Fete on Saturday 8th August 2026 between midday and 4pm.
Once again this will be a free to use event solely funded by the Community Centre, who once again give back to the community in which it serves.
This year we will still have our local fairground supplier, mobile petting farm, bird of prey display, and dozens of craft and community interest stalls, as well as an entertainment area were we will have live music, children's entertainer, and a local Performing Arts Academy, all interspersed by our DJ Terry, and its all free for you to enjoy.

Groups from around Luton South Division will again be supporting Link to Hope you can also get involved 😊 maybe filling a box with yourself, arranging a group packing session, donating items to boxes or passing some empty shoeboxes across to be filled.

It’s great to be promoting 15th Luton Brownies who meet at the venue and other guiding groups in the area that would love to have more girls & volunteers get involved.

6th Stopsley Ramridge Rainbows 🌈 had another wonderful cooking session with Angie from Creative Chefs this time making tasty rainbow wraps.

The Rainbows are really enjoying tasting new foods and making such colourful creations.

Rainbows welcomes all girls from 4 to 7 years old to laugh, learn and have fun in a creative safe space.
Rainbows will laugh, sing and make a happy mess (and help clear it up!) as they choose their way through our programme of activities.

5th Stopsley Rainbows & Brownies have been staying cool in this hot sunny ☀️weather with some fun water play 💦

They meet on Wednesday evenings at Newlands Church & Community Centre, Crawley Green Road LU2 9TE and they would be delighted for more girls to join.

What a lovely afternoon we had at our Bluebell Walk at the end of April 💙🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success — from our amazing leaders and Trefoil members, to all the families who came along and supported the event. We’re so lucky to have such a wonderful guiding community around us.

It was fantastic to see so many families out enjoying the beautiful bluebells and spending time together at Haverings. The sunshine, smiles and support made it a really special afternoon ☀️

Well done as well to everyone who received a card from Rachel Hopkins MP — a lovely touch to celebrate the day.

And it seems the leftover cake was just as popular afterwards too 🍰 — with extra donations coming in thanks to cake being shared at work!

Thank you again to everyone who helped, attended, donated and supported. Events like this wouldn’t happen without you 💙
