Our Story
Established in 2011 The Walk to Freedom Limited is a successful not-for-profit ex service user led community based organisation that is committed to addressing the issues surrounding drug and alcohol dependency through its innovative intervention, prevention, and awareness programmes.
Our youth services work closely with referrals from the Children in Care Services, Education Authorities as well as the Youth Offending and Probation Services
The Walk to Freedoms centre for operations is based in central Luton and its services have a nationwide coverage. Our client beneficiaries are male and female from many diverse backgrounds and cultures between the ages of 16-60 for our Dependency Support Programme and 11- 20 and over for our Young Peoples Mentoring and Personal Development Workshops. Referrals are accepted from outside agencies from the voluntary and statutory sectors from mental health and well being services to the criminal justice services, we also accept self referrals.
