Community Health and Wellbeing Event on Wednesday 21st October 2026, from 6.00pm to 8.00pm at South Lake Leisure Centre.

The event will bring together a range of organisations offering health and wellbeing support, along with advice on alcohol, drugs and mental health.

We are delighted to welcome two guest speakers - Rory Sloan from Resolute Minds will share his personal journey through mental health challenges and addiction and how these experiences led him to where he is today. Representatives from Just A Chat will discuss their work in promoting mental health awareness and encouraging people to seek support when facing challenges.

Really enjoyed 😁 delivering this AWARE NI Mood Matters session last night on mental health awareness to a lovely group of people 🤗.
Thanks to Sean from The Fitzone Foundation for hosting & Splash SureStart for use of their premises. Aware NI also have a Parent & Baby 👶🏻 Mood Matters session funded by the Public Health Agency.

Join us this August for a series of FREE outdoor play events as we celebrate National Playday across the borough 🤾🏼 🌳

Children of primary school age are invited to get active, make new friends and discover the joy of play through fun games, exploration and outdoor adventures in some of our beautiful parks.
