The jury in the trial of Stephen McCullagh for the murder of his partner Natalie McNally in Co Armagh has retired to consider its verdict.
The trial at Belfast Crown Court started on February 23.
Ms McNally, 32, was 15 weeks’ pregnant when she was attacked and died in her home in Lurgan on December 18 2022.
McCullagh, 36, of Woodland Gardens, Lisburn, has denied her murder.

Thanks to The Stables Bar, Restaurant & Off Licence for the perfect location and all who sold a ticket, bought a ticket and all the local businesses who kindly donated prizes...

What an amazing total! A special thanks to all those who sold and bought tickets and to all who donated prizes for the raffle. A big thank you to The Stables for use of their bar for the event and to DJ Pat Morgan for keeping the tunes flowing.

The fundraising night was a huge success organised by Maura Lavery and, as always, carried out in the memory of Natalie McNally💜

It was expected that a 12-person jury was to be sworn in this morning, however, defence barrister John Kearney KC opened proceedings by stating that “an issue which has recently arisen” was going to impact the “readiness of the trial”. https://tinyurl.com/2nshej9e
