We are deeply sorry to hear that Tess Lyons, one of our past members has sadly passed away recently. Tess was involved in many activities at the Deaf centre and was also part of Lowestoft Signing Choir for many years.

For those wishing to pay their respects to Tess, her funeral will be held on 24th November at 12:30.

Rosie Pell (BSL interpreter) has sent us a poster for a fundraising nativity with flower arranging demonstration taking place at Bradwell Church (Great Yarmouth - well nearer to Gorleston really).

Tickets are £10 each.

Rosie’s mum will be demonstrating the flowers. There will also be some music and the story of the nativity told throughout the evening.

Rosie has offered to interpret the event should any Deaf people wish to come along. Appreciate that it is a busy time and Bradwell is a bit of a distance from Lowestoft. If anyone is interested in coming along and needs a BSL interpreter, please let Rosie know. Ideally would need to know numbers by Sunday 16th November as it is ticketed.
