Yes They Can Be Silent 😡

This is what annoys me and why the campaign awareness talks were created but unfortunately due to lack of interest and funds in my small personal charity along with my mental health struggles since loosing Gemma I can’t get out and about to give these talks as much as I’d like to but hopefully I can and I will in the future.
All these big established charities out there are lining the pockets of their CEO’s and staff with donations and along with other ‘Gynea health’ platforms they bang on about signs and symptoms but they won’t acknowledge or talk about the fact that THERE IS NOT ALWAYS SYMPTOMS as we all know from Gemma’s story!

We all know the signs & symptoms but what a lot of women don’t know is that there ISNT ALWAYS ANY and Gemma is proof of that! So rather than constantly banging on about them talk more about how important it is to have regular pap / smear / cervical screening tests to detect abnormalities that a woman won’t necessarily know are there if she doesn’t have regular tests!
And when the NHS won’t schedule a test because we’re only allowed to have them now every 3-5 years in the UK between the ages of 25 & 65 if no HPV is showing know that they can be done privately once a year for around £130….worth it for peace of mind!
