What a brilliant weekend we have had. The weather couldnโ€™t have been better and everyone tried their hardest. I could not be more proud of all the riders. Of course a huge thank you to the volunteers ๐Ÿ‘

I wonโ€™t be posting for a couple of weeks as Ken and I are off to Japan early tomorrow morning. We are very much looking forward to seeing Eleanor and Killian. However I will be happier once we have landed!

I canโ€™t thank Richard A Watson and the rest of my team enough for looking after CRT while Iโ€™m away ๐Ÿ‘

Hereโ€™s happy times to everyone at CRT ๐Ÿ˜€

So, this morning Richard A Watson was out in one of the fields when he came across this juvenile sparrow hawk. The SH was probably hunting and became caught in the fence, breaking his wing in the process. We contacted CHARM Animal Rescue and Glen promptly came over and took him to South Essex Wildlife Hospital. Our fingers are crossed that he makes a full recovery ๐Ÿคž

We welcome Barns to join our special team. He is 23yrs young going on 13. This is the kindest horse on four legs, standing 16hh. He is kindly on loan to us by Barbara Sealey. Happy times ahead I feel. Needless to say this photo wasnโ€™t taken today ๐ŸŒง๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜‚

We had a brilliant working party from QBE Insurance. They did a fantastic job clearing ditches, cleaning the stable windows and washing all our tables and chairs ready for our winter events. I really canโ€™t thank them enough, they were a phenomenal team ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

These guys came from Barclays and put in a very enthusiastic hard days work. They were firstly informed about the valuable work that is carried out here. Then they got stuck in with clearing under the seating of the outdoor arena (never been done before) so you can imagine what a challenge that was. They then spread masses of rotted manure onto the patio garden. A full days work indeed. My thanks go to Jacqui, Louisa, Abdul, Chris, Eric, Bastian, Ish*ta and last but not least Nayan,
Finally, I would like to say a big thank you to Barclays for there very generous donation of ยฃ500. This of course will be put to very good use ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
