Sadly a cat has been found this morning on Stotfield Road. The wee thing has a blue collar. Please message the page if it could be your puss.

This post is a bit of a rant.

Between the heat and seagulls, we are running into a bit of an environmental health issue in parts of Lossie.

We are asking everyone to make sure they are recycling properly and not leaving bins overflowing. If you have food that is going in a bin, please make sure that it's disposed of in a way that keeps animals out of it.

The overflowing bins and food that is not properly disposed of are attracting seagulls, rodents and other animals that are then spreading rubbish across our community and causing infestations. If a public bin is full, please carry your rubbish home with you or find another bin that is not full.

Please help us keep Lossie clean.

ABANDONED DOG - HOME WANTED

Unusually we have been asked to find a home for this boy straight away. He was handed into the Police about a week ago by the owner who no longer wanted him. In the ensuing days they have not been back and Moray Council Dog Warden have agreed to take him on - but to rehome.
He's a complete male and is chipped. He seems friendly but may have issues with children and apparently is a bit of a thief.
There will be a charge £90 towards stray upkeep. If you're interested please let us know and we will assess any possibilities.

Rivers that “look calm”.

They’re not.

Cold. Currents. Panic.

Swimming skills don’t always save you.

Say something before it goes wrong.

Mates speak up when someone's tempted to swim in rivers or lakes where it's not safe.

Speak up. Be a Mate
