Oasis have confirmed plans for a full international tour in 2027.

The warring Gallagher brothers set aside more than a decade of bad blood for an unexpected reunion tour, kicking off with an emotional evening in Cardiff over 12 months ago. Speculation about a new batch of tour dates has been rife, with Liam Gallagher getting antsy on Twitter.

Now the wait is over. Oasis will go back out on the road in 2027, confirming a run of city residencies and full ticket details.

The band comment:

“START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!!
After a period of reflection “The Most Damaging Pop Cultural Force In Recent British History” has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people.
Come witness the fitness.
It shall be a sight to behold.”

Titled Oasis Live 27, the dates span the UK, Ireland and the US, beginning in Glasgow on May 21st, and touring through Manchester, Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston, Las Vegas, Slane Castle (north of Dublin) and Knebworth.

Due to overwhelming demand, a registration process has been put in place to reduce queuing times and organised ticket touting in order to give genuine fans the best possible chance to buy tickets. The registration process is the only public way to buy tickets for Oasis Live ’27. There will be no general onsale or other public presales outside of this process.

Standard ticket prices will be fixed and range between £71.50 and £266.60, including fees.

Ex-gang boss Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis has been found guilty in the Tupac Shakur murder case.

The Los Angeles rapper was gunned down in a drive-by shooting while visiting Las Vegas in September 1996 – no one was ever convicted of his murder.

Earlier this year notorious former gang leader Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis was placed on trial; previously a senior figure in the Compton Crips, he admitted to involvement in the murder during a 2008 police interview.

Now 63-years-old, Duane Davis has now been convicted for his part in the rapper’s murder. It took the jury only 90 minutes to deliver their guilty verdict; dressed in black, Davis listened to the verdict impassively, as per BBC.

Tupac Shakur was only 25 years old when he died, and was arguably the most famous artist in North America at the time of his murder.

Nia Archives has been involved in soundsystem culture since childhood. Some of her earliest memories are standing close to bass bins at Bradford Carnival, with family and friends toasting their heritage and the sounds of the Caribbean.

This month, Nia Archives joined Hennessy to toast 60 years of Notting Hill carnival, linking with Notting Hill Carnival CEO Matthew Phillip and Rhythm Section guru Bradley Zero to build the ultimate carnival playlist.

The influential trio took part in a special Q&A at Peckham venue and community space Jumbi to inaugurate the partnership, one that continues with a number of carefully curated events throughout August.

Country Music Icon Dolly Parton Has Passed Away 🕊️

The death of the legendary songwriter, performer, actress, and humanitarian was confirmed a few moments ago. She was 80 years old.

Dolly Parton lost Carl Dean – her husband of more than 50 years – in 2025, and speculation surrounded the health of the singer.

Global icon and humanitarian, Dolly Parton, known to the world as a beloved singer, songwriter, philanthropist, actress, playwright, and author died peacefully today in Nashville, Tennessee. She was 80 years old.

Dolly is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years Carl Thomas Dean (1942 – 2025), her mother Avie Lee Caroline Owens (1923 – 2003), and father, Robert Lee Parton, Sr. (1921 – 2000).

A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth, and kindness that made us all feel like family. Dolly Parton’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and resilience. With a seven-decade career, she inspired multiple generations of artists and fans with her music and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. Starting in 2027, the European Broadcasting Union bars winning countries from hosting if “armed conflict, a sensitive geopolitical situation, or any other situation materially affects the security, safety or stability of the immediate region of a Participating Broadcaster.”

The right to host the show will be transferred to a broadcaster from another country.

“If the winning Member is deemed unable to host, the EBU will identify an alternative Host Broadcaster. The appointed Host Broadcaster will assume all rights, obligations and liabilities associated with hosting the Contest, including responsibility for the organisation, production and staging of the event. The Host Broadcaster will organise the Contest in its own right and will not be required to stage the event on behalf of another Member.”

Spotify has announced a new labelling system designed to help listeners identify AI-generated artists and content on the platform.

The move comes amid a huge rise in AI-generated music online. Spotify is now looking to increase transparency by introducing new labels for AI-generated personas, alongside more information about how AI has been used in music creation.

From mid-September, an “AI Persona” badge will appear on profiles identified as representing AI-generated artists rather than real people. Music from these AI Personas will also be excluded from Spotify’s editorial and algorithmic recommendations, unless a listener already follows AI personas.

From today (August 12), artists can disclose through Spotify for Artists whether their profile represents an AI Persona. Spotify will also review profiles that haven’t self-disclosed in an effort to identify others, while listeners will be able to report suspected AI Persona accounts later this year.

Importantly, the new system is designed to distinguish between real artists and entirely AI-generated personas, rather than simply labelling any music created using AI. Human artists who incorporate AI into their creative process won’t automatically receive the AI Persona badge.

For greater transparency around how individual tracks are made, Spotify has introduced separate features including AI Credits, allowing artists to disclose how AI was used in the creative process, and SongDNA, which provides more information about the artists and contributors behind a track. Other measures include Verified By Spotify, which indicates that an artist is a real person.

Belfast-born artist Jack Coulter has launched a new exhibition with Winsor Birch.

The 32-year-old painter has synaesthesia, meaning he experiences sound as colour, and music has always been central to his creative practice. His work has seen him create a painting for Glastonbury Festival, collaborate with Sir Elton John on Tiny Dancer, and find collectors including Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Post Malone and the Freddie Mercury Estate.

After three years away from public exhibitions, Coulter returns with With Every Light And With Every Song, a new show at Winsor Birch that draws inspiration from artists including Amy Winehouse, Radiohead, Olivia Dean and David Bowie.

Visitors are encouraged to experience the exhibition in a multi-sensory way, with Bang & Olufsen providing headphones and speakers for an immersive audio experience.

With Every Light And With Every Song runs until August 9 at Winsor Birch, 8 Duke Street, St James', London.

Jamiroquai legend Jay Kay re-created the band’s iconic ‘Virtual Insanity’ for Beefeater Gin London 0.0 - and reckons it’s better than the original.

The groundbreaking 1996 video was directed by Jonathan Glazer, and showed off Jay Kay’s distinctive dance moves. Film makers Julien & Quentin expanded the original for Beefeater 0.0, while Jay Kay quickly slipped back into the groove.

“It just came out of the blue!” he laughs. “When the initial concept came out to use ‘Virtual Insanity’ I was intrigued… it being one of my babies. I wanted to know how it would work. And they took the concept of me reaching for something and did it in a different way. It’s cool!”

“I can see the connection between my life and what Beefeater are doing, which is moderation. Things have changed since the 90s, and I’ve changed with it,” he explains.

With a new album on the way next year - the best Jamiqoquai have ever done, he boasts - Jay Kay sits down with CLASH to discuss the illustrious past and ambitious future of this seminal British band.
