Election Debate in London Sunday 23/8 2026đžđȘ
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the Swedish Church in London, and to all eight parties and politicians who took part.
It was a full house and an afternoon filled with important discussions ahead of the 2026 Swedish general election.
The event began with SWEA London sharing important information about how to vote from the UK. Voting in the UK is available from today, 24 August, until 9 September.

The debate began with a moment of silence for the victims of the incident at Brinellskolan in Fagersta, before moving on to some of the key issues affecting Swedes abroad, including voting rights and citizenship, public services, security and crime, migration and integration, as well as climate and energy.
