⭐️ The Cygnets play returns for 2027! ⭐️

Are you ready to put your best foot forward? Cygnets definitely are with the popular, British comedy Stepping Out! 🎩

This heartwarming play is about 8 women, and 1 man learning to tap in an ordinary village hall in North London (the only play FDs have ever wanted to be apart of!).

📍Showing in May 2027 at St Barnabas, the show will launch in February with auditions shortly afterwards.

🎭Want to direct, produce or choreograph this fast-paced and witty play? The creative team call out will be announced soon: watch this space!

✨ TONIGHT: CYGNET PLAYERS AGM ✨

Cygnet Members are invited to join us at our Annual General Meeting 🦢❤️

It’s an exciting opportunity to celebrate the 2026 season, share updates from across the society, and look ahead to everything Cygnet Players has in store for 2027.

From what we’ve achieved this year to what’s next for our members, productions and community (including the announcement of our 2027 play!!) we’re looking forward to an evening of celebrating where we are and looking ahead to where we’re going. 💙

Here’s to 2027! 🎭✨

🎭 What’s it actually like being on the Cygnet Players committee? 👀

We asked our Chair, Phoebe Fleetham, to give you the inside scoop! ✨

Being on committee is a brilliant way to get more involved behind the scenes. From getting creative and meeting brilliant people to helping shape our shows and having a real say in where Cygnet Players goes next. 💛

And the best part? It’s a genuinely manageable commitment. With one virtual meeting a month, usually on a Wednesday evening, plus a little extra time for your own area of responsibility, there’s plenty of flexibility to fit it around work, rehearsals and everyday life.

As we head into our 30th year, we’d love to welcome some new faces to the team! 🥳
