🇵🇸 HILLINGDON STANDS WITH PALESTINE 🇵🇸

Local residents, groups and trade unions come out for our solidarity rally for Palestine in Hillingdon.

As Israel persistently violates the so-called ceasefire agreement, the situation in Gaza continues to be catastrophic.

With no fully operating hospitals and the Israeli forces still blocking the entry of essential supplies such as food, water, and medicine. Palestine has been enduring years of settler colonialism, ethnic cleansing, and apartheid.

The ongoing violence has resulted in the brutal loss of hundreds and thousands of lives. The UK government must end their complicity and ties with the designated apartheid state committing genocide.

Let's keep raising our voice and stand for justice. Until all of Palestine is free, we show up, stay loud, and keep fighting ✊🏾

🚨IMPORTANT UPDATE 🚨

We are pleased to announce that the council has now accepted the petition and invited someone to present it at the petition meeting.

We are still holding a solidarity rally to show that Hillingdon residents care deeply about justice for Palestinians and demand that Hillingdon Council divest from companies complicit in genocide.

Across the UK, councils have received legal notices and 26 councils have already committed to ending financial ties with companies complicit in Israel’s breaches of international law. These notices state that Israel’s illegal occupation, system of apartheid, and genocide in Gaza are grave breaches of international norms.

Councils therefore have a duty not to recognise or contribute to these violations and to take all possible steps to help end them.

Hillingdon Council must do the same ‼️

Raise your voice and stand for justice. Israel has violated the so-called ceasefire more than 500 times since 10 October 2025, and attacks continue to devastate Gaza. Until all of Palestine is free, we show up, stay loud, and keep fighting ✊🏾

Join us as we stand in solidarity with Palestine and demand that Hillingdon Council divest from companies complicit in genocide.

Despite over 1000 signatures, the council rejected our divestment petition with barely any consideration and for reasons that don’t appear to follow its own rules. We’ve robustly challenged this decision.
