In Lewisham demand is rising, whilst donations are falling. We need you.

Can you help us? Only together can we make sure no one has to face hunger alone.

Every donation, however small, helps us support people who need it most. Please donate if you can: organise a collection at your workplace, school or community group, or share this post to help spread the word.

Ways to donate can be found in our LinkTree in our bio.

MASSIVE well done to our Kian for raising over £600 running the Royal Parks Half last Sunday - and to Sarah for running as well (but she wasn't fundraising this time... her time is coming...!). Thank you everyone who encouraged him and donated.

We've now been open for 3 weeks at our new Deptford food bank centre at .

It's such a welcoming space, and it was lovely to have the feedback from this visitor. We are glad to be able to support him whilst he gets back on his feet.

Coming to a food bank can be daunting and embarrassing. But we will welcome you, you can have a cuppa and a confidential chat, and be sent away with some emergency food, helpful advice and hopefully know that you have been cared for in a non judgemental way.

We had our first food bank session at The Bear Church today, feeding 64 adults and 28 children. Some visitors chatted to our advisors, and some had a neck and shoulder massage from .

Massive thanks to all the Bear and Foodbank volunteers and staff. We are so excited about this partnership!

After one of our busiest summers the team decided to treat ourselves to a night out in Chinatown.

We are blessed to have each other.

Kian is a member of our foodbank team and loves cardboard.

He also loves running and is taking part in the Royal Park Half Marathon on 11 October raising money for Lewisham Foodbank.

He'd love a bit of encouragement so donations, however small, would be very well received.
