The past couple of weeks have been busy at Dòchas, with activities taking place across Mid Argyll, Kintyre and The Islands. It’s been great to see unpaid carers coming together, taking part in activities and connecting with others.
In Kintyre, we held our monthly Arts & Crafts session, as well as our NEW Digital Café for cared for adults, giving them the opportunity to learn new skills and build confidence with technology while offering carers some time for themselves.
Over in Islay & Jura, we welcomed carers to our monthly Seated Yoga session, providing an opportunity to relax, stretch and focus on their wellbeing.
In Mid Argyll, our weekly Drop-In continued, including a helpful talk on Oral Health Improvement. We also enjoyed another Craft & Chill session, where everyone got creative painting flowers, as well as our Parent Carers Group, offering a supportive space to share experiences and connect with others.
We would also like to extend our thanks to our funders and partners, whose continued support helps us deliver a wide range of activities and services for unpaid carers and cared for adults across Mid Argyll, Kintyre and The Islands.
Thank you to everyone who joined us over the past couple of weeks and helped make these activities so welcoming and enjoyable.
We look forward to seeing you again at another Dòchas activity soon!
