Our Mayor, Cllr Steve Deeks-D'Silva was delighted to attend the 20th Anniversary of Llandrindod Wells Leg Club this morning.

This club provides a vital services for residents of the town and surrounding area and is run by volunteers committed to supporting residents.

Today saw the retirement of Jim Moore President of the Club who has been in place since day one. Thank you Jim for your service and thanks to all volunteers who give their time freely.

Llandrindod Wells Memorial Hospital's main entrance is being refurbished to create a more welcoming environment for patients, visitors and staff.

To allow these essential improvement works to take place, temporary access arrangements will be in place from 20 July to 21 August 2026. Clinical services will continue to operate throughout the works, with alternative routes available for X-ray, Therapies, Reception and Outpatients.

**Leg Club Update – Thursday 25 June**

Leg Club will remain open on Thursday 25 June.

Due to the current heatwave, we kindly ask that only patients who need to be seen attend the Leg Club.

If you require advice or support, please contact the Llandrindod District Nurses on **01597 828765** for help and guidance.

Please do not come out in the heat unless it is absolutely necessary. Stay indoors where possible, keep cool, and drink plenty of fluids to stay well hydrated during the hot weather.
