Continuing our Spooky Season Recommendations to watch or read, today we bring you the classic childrens book by Roald Dahl - The Witches

Suitable for reading out loud to children from age 6 and recommended for independent reading for those aged 8+ and available from your local library 📚

The book is a typically dark Dahl read telling the story about a young orphaned boy and his grandmother who fight a secret society of child-hating witches

Published in 1983 the book subsequently was made into a stage play, radio dramatisation, an opera and a film

We are asking schools, businesses, clubs and individuals to host a Halloween themed fundraising event to help support our work.

From spooky bake sales 🍪 and scary movie marathons 🎥 to Halloween fancy dress 🧛 pumpkin carving 🎃 or a haunted challenge 🧟‍♂️- you choose which way to get involved and every pound raised supports young people across NI
