Are you heading off on your Leavers Holiday? Safety may not be at the top of your list when planning your well deserved holiday, but keeping these tips in mind can make your holiday a trip to remember, instead of a trip to forget

Try remember some key phrases in the local language:
🚑 "I need a doctor"
🚑 "Do you speak English?"
🚑 "I am lost"

We were delighted to attend a wonderful Celebration Event at St Vincents on Friday where the principal, teachers and classroom assistants honoured each pupil for their individual contribution and achievements throughout the school year.

ASCERT were involved with St Vincents earlier in the year through our work with Bruiser Theatre Company, delivering workshops to some older pupils. Every pupil is encouraged and supported to achieve their full potential in spite of facing many challenges and it was wonderful to have been invited to this uplifting event.

Today, Geoff attended Stay Safe in Summer event at Hazelwood Integrated College.
It was a great opportunity to speak to the pupils and talk about alcohol, drugs, mental health and ASCERT's services.
