🎃👻💜 THAT’S A WRAP ON MONSTER MASH-UP 2026!! 💜👻🎃
WOW, BIRCHWOOD… WHAT AN ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC AFTERNOON!! 👹💚🧡
Well, the monsters have officially packed up, the music has stopped, and we’ve just about recovered from all the Halloween madness! What an incredible afternoon we had yesterday at our very first C.H.O.M.P. Monster Mash-Up! 🎃
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon, and seeing so many happy little faces, fantastic costumes and families coming together to enjoy themselves made every bit of hard work worthwhile. From the dancing and laughter to the games, face painting and all those spooky surprises around the Scout Hut, it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved and having such a brilliant time! 💚
🎶🕺 A HUGE THANK YOU TO JJ FAMILY ENTERTAINER! 🕺🎶
What a fantastic job you did keeping everyone entertained! From getting the children up and dancing to making sure everyone felt included and involved, you brought so much energy and fun to the afternoon. The music, games and interaction with the children were absolutely brilliant, and we really appreciate everything you did to help make our Monster Mash-Up such a success! 💜
🎨👻 A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO SMILE MAKERS FACE PAINTING! 👻🎨
Your beautiful creations were absolutely incredible! It was wonderful seeing all the little monsters transformed with your fantastic face painting, and you did such a lovely job keeping the children happy, entertained and looking amazing throughout the afternoon. We’re so grateful you came along and shared your talents with our community! 💚
💚 A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO COUNCILLOR BRENDA COLLIER AND HER HUSBAND! 💚
It was absolutely lovely to welcome you both to our Monster Mash-Up yesterday! Thank you for taking the time to pop down, see what we were getting up to and spend some time with our community. It’s always wonderful to see our local representatives taking an interest in what’s happening in Birchwood and supporting the activities being organised for local families. We really appreciated your visit! 🥰
💚 AND OF COURSE… OUR INCREDIBLE VOLUNTEERS AND SUPPORTERS! 💚
We really cannot thank you all enough. From the preparations and setting everything up, to helping throughout the afternoon, supporting the children and families, and staying behind to clean everything down afterwards, every single one of you played a part in making yesterday possible.
These events don’t just happen on their own. Behind every activity, every decoration, every party bag and every smiling face is a group of people who generously give up their own time, energy and resources because they genuinely care about their community. The tireless efforts, kindness and dedication of our volunteers and supporters are what make events like this possible, and we’re incredibly grateful to have such wonderful people around us. 💚
📸🎃 WE’VE GOT SOME PHOTOS TO SHARE! 🎃📸
We’ve been lucky enough to receive some lovely photographs from families who attended yesterday, and with their kind permission, we’re delighted to share a few of those special moments with you all!
If anyone else managed to capture some wonderful memories from the afternoon and would be happy for us to share them, please feel free to send them over to our page or pop them in the comments! We’d absolutely love to see them! 📸💜
And finally, THANK YOU, BIRCHWOOD! 💚
Thank you to every family who came along, every child who joined in, everyone who dressed up, danced, laughed, played games and helped make our very first Monster Mash-Up such a fantastic success. Your support means the absolute world to us, and seeing our community come together and enjoy these moments is exactly why we do what we do.
WE LOVE YOU, BIRCHWOOD! 💚🥹
And now that the monsters have gone back into hiding, there’s only one thing left to say…
