The Village hall committee, over the recent months has expressed concern regarding the speed of traffic through Meadwell and have been approached by residents regarding the issue.
While not technically a Village Hall issue the committee have looked into the problem. To this end, the committee has been unsuccessful in its approach to the Highways Department.
We therefore intend to erect two polite notices at either end of the village, which we hope will prompt people to slow down and drive carefully. Two landowners have kindly agreed to position the signage on their land, for which we are grateful.
