Paddy shows off his new gates installed at home and made at The Shed. Well done Paddy on a superbly executed construction.

Simon again hosted a Poppy making course at The Shed. Claire, Mary and Victoria were guided through the process of making their own poppies out of wood and kept up the tradition of the nations iconic memorial to our war dead.
They were instructed in using wood finishing machinery and dremels, helped along by fellow shed member John. The ladies commented on what a lovely time they spent in the Shed!
All proceeds were donated to The Royal British Legion.

The new roof water collection system via the gutters and overhead channels to water tanks is now completed. Having said that it could be a while before we have a useful amount of water stored, of course !

Simon’s tortoise is now finished ! Along with super-detailing on the shell and head this makes a smashing addition to his collection and as always inspires us all. The final pic is also with his carved hare….. thinking here of the tale of their race.
