📢 What’s on at the Institute in June!

There are several great opportunities this month to come together as a community. Whether you want to have your say, enjoy a meal, or simply spend time with others, we’d love to see you there!

🫖Afternoon tea – 2 – 4 pm Saturday 6 June. Selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes available on each table. £7.50 per person, booking essential via Sue Duffield on 01969 663504 or [email protected]. Please let Sue know of any dietary requirements when booking
☕Coffee morning – Saturday 20 June 10.30 am – 12.30 pm. Fresh coffee, tea and generous helpings of cake plus a raffle, all included for your £5 entry
🐟Ramsay’s fish & chip van will be back at the Institute at 6.20 pm on Saturday 20 June. The hall will be open again for villagers to eat together. Salt, vinegar and ketchup provided, plus of course mugs of tea to wash it all down

We were thrilled when Ramsay's Fish and Chip Van included Thornton Rust in their pop up round in April 😋 It was so successful that they are returning on the evening of Saturday 23 May. The Institute will be open for you to bring in your fish supper - salt, vinegar, ketchup provided and cups of tea will be available. No charge but we will request donations for the Institute.

What a soup-er (sorry!🤭) Lent Lunch we hosted on behalf of Penhill Benefice at the Institute yesterday. We welcomed 30 people for a simple meal of soup, bread and butter, cheese and hot cross buns. Thank you so much to everyone who provided donations of food and time to make the event such a success 🙏
