Wow what a day! Our boy sure does like to give us a roller coaster of emotions!
Starting with his 12mm Kasey qualified 3rd, all 3 races were quite uneventful and lonely rides for him, but he kept pushing and bought it home inπ₯π₯π₯ and 3rd overall for the day. All day on the bike we could see he was thinking alot about what he had been coached on recently so it was positives all round.
Now onto his JSM90, Kasey was fastest in warm up and qualifying bagging himself pole position for only his second time. However with Race 1 and sitting on pole his nerves got the better of him and he stalled it on the line. This put him over half a lap down and at the back, but he dug deep, got himself back in the race and finished π₯
Race 2, as if he wasn't annoyed at himself enough the first time round he stalled it on the line again! π« The resilience of this boy astounded me today because yet again fought through from half a lap down and got back into π₯and only a bike length off first place.
Race 3, Kasey finally managed to get the bike off the line with a good start, he followed the leader for a couple of laps then made his move doing an undertake into the carasell, anyone who knows Kasey knows how unreal that moment was as its the first time he has ever been brave enough to do it! He then held the lead, gapping everybody by a comfortable margin and brought it home in π₯
Overall for the day on the JSM90 he has brought home a π₯ but knowing he was the fastest out on track has lit a fire in him! Bring on the next round in June!
