You know you're doing a good job when the local residents stop by to give their approval (and some ice lollies, thank you!) Our BITMO planters are looking fab for sure.

Our volunteers also had a great time last week constructing a dipping platform for a primary school. It's a perfect shaded spot for the kids to meet some creepy crawlies and learn about pond life.

The Practical Team is currently looking for new volunteers, so if you're in the area and want to take some time out in nature with us then please get in touch!

FAQ:
Do I need to attend every day?: No you do not, you can join our texting list and you just need to let us know when you can make it. There is no obligation to attend everyday or every week!

Do I need to complete any forms?: We just need you to complete some welfare forms, they don't take long to complete and will need checking annually to ensure the information is still correct.

It's MMU this Sunday 1-3pm. Among other things we'll be talking about menopause affects your skin and hair. We'll also be making things to help from plants from the garden.

It’s your weekly reminder that TCV Hollybush have been shortlisted for Everyday History Heroes 2026 and would appreciate your vote!

Everyday History Heroes is a national celebration of the organisations, places and people keeping local history alive from Findmypast and Heritage Open Days

The prize is £1000, which would mean Hollybush could improve accessibility in the woodland garden and install a permanent family-friendly nature trail celebrating the relationship between trees and plants and our local history.

The Tuesday Conservation Group have had their steel toe capped boots on today to make a start on re doing our meadow pond!
Our meadow pond has taken a hit the past couple of years with the hot summers, and we have decided to remove the vegetation and design a new pond. The group a learning about pond habitats and what native flora and fauna we can plant and attract
