PART was established in 2002 to investigate potentially and alleged paranormal activity, its causes and its effects. Since then we have gone through several changes but are now left with a core team of dedicated, open minded but always sceptical investigators with many years of experience and a good variety of skills and outlooks.

While some paranormal groups concentrate on well known venues that charge for investigators to go and thus the group then tries to recover their costs by inviting paying members of the public along with them, PART has always tried to leave money out of it and we have for the most part managed this. We approach each investigation scientifically and methodically, although we also employ non scientific methods, we don’t rule anything out, we do then treat any such information gained or experiences with a sceptical scientific mind. This means we don’t jump to conclusions and we are not influenced by preconceptions.

General information

Over the years PART has conducted investigations in large museums, hotels, pubs, nightclubs, offices and private homes. We use a mixture of technology including night vision video, cameras, digital voice recorders, thermometers, EMF detectors and others as well utilising traditional paranormal methods of communication. We have gathered enough evidence to conclusively determine that paranormal activity does occur, although we are also aware that so far this evidence is only evidence to those present who know how it was gathered. Evidence that can convince the most die hard of sceptics is likely impossible to find because people will always doubt and accuse someone of lying or making things up. Therefore the only way to find good evidence, find answers, is to get out there for yourself.
