We're delighted to welcome Angela Oliver and Steve Harper as new Perennial Ambassadors 💚

Angela, Chief Executive of the British Florist Association, and Steve, Managing Director of Grass Gains, have joined our Ambassador programme alongside Mark Gregory.

Together, they will help champion Perennial across the floristry, garden retail and wider horticulture sectors, helping more people understand the support available from the charity.

Our President, Alan Titchmarsh, welcomed the appointments, saying: "I am delighted that Angela Oliver and Steve Harper are coming on board as new Ambassadors for the charity, alongside Mark Gregory."

We are delighted to congratulate Perennial Chairman Paul Rochford on being awarded an MBE in the King's Birthday Honours for services to horticulture 🌿

Paul has long been a strong advocate for the people who work across horticulture, and this honour reflects his contribution to the industry.

Commenting on the award, Paul said:

I am always keen to promote the importance of the horticulture industry and I hope that this award will help to emphasise the vital role that it plays in our lives. Networking Event for Self-employed and Solo Workers in Horticulture 🌿

Working alone has its benefits, but it can also mean missing out on the day-to-day conversations, support and connections that come from being part of a team.

We're hosting a friendly networking event at Helmingham Hall Gardens on Thursday 23 July. It's an opportunity to meet others working across horticulture, share experiences of working independently and learn more about the support available from Perennial.

There will be talks from our Director of Services Helen Waddington and we'll also be joined by Head Gardener Brendan Arundel for a tour of the gardens.
