Rising Youngstars Junior Musical Theatre Group & Rising Youngstars Performing Arts Studio.

Our theatre group allows children to take part in large scale productions whilst our Studios offer weekly classes in Music, Dance, Acting and much more!

A very special well done to Erin, our choreographer and committee member who received the Saltire Award at the Heart of Angus Awards last night in celebration of volunteers week. Erin works exceptionally hard and this is a very well deserved recognition.

At RYS we are extremely lucky to have exceptional volunteers who give up their time to ensure the group is what it is. This is not only the committee who we couldn’t run without but the production team, stage crews for shows, front of house helpers, back stage helpers, the list goes on.

It really does take a community to run a group like this and we have the best one going!

Thank you to all of our volunteers and a very special well done to Erin for your continued hard work! 💫

We were absolutely blown away by the number of Youngstars who joined us for our first Frozen Jr workshop tonight! ❄️✨

What an incredible evening filled with energy, excitement, and so much talent already. We are beyond excited to begin rehearsing together. It’s great to have our juniors back after Legally Blonde and to welcome so many new faces.

Thank you to everyone who came along tonight.

We’re back! 🎭✨

Our first block of drama classes with Rising Youngstars is in full swing, and what an incredible start it’s been. From building confidence to exploring creativity, our young performers have already shown so much passion, energy, and talent.

We love seeing everyone use their imagination and creativity throughout our sessions!

Now that we have recovered from our incredible production of Legally Blonde, we are so excited to get started on our next adventure… Frozen Jr!

We know how much you’ve all been looking forward to this, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back (and meet some new faces too) for our workshops.

Our workshops are all about giving children the chance to be part of something special. Whether they already love performing or are just curious to give it a try, we make sure every child is encouraged, supported and given the confidence to get involved in a way that feels right for them.

Across the three weeks, children will learn songs, scenes and choreography, explore characters, and grow in confidence—all in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment where friendships are built along the way.

There is no pressure when it comes to auditions. Children can choose to audition for a role or simply enjoy being part of the ensemble, making this a fantastic experience for both new and returning members.

We’re so excited to begin this journey together and can’t wait to see everyone stepping into the world of Arendelle.
