There will be no set catalogue issued prior to the event. Instead, all exhibitors must contact the Show Secretary in advance with the following information:
* The birds you wish to exhibit
* Number of birds
* Breed(s)
* Your CPH number

All entries must be submitted no later than Saturday 13th June.
On the day of the show, exhibitors will declare their birds to the Secretary on arrival, and classes will then be allocated accordingly.

* £3 per bird
* Payable on the day
* Cash or cheque accepted
* Birds to be penned by 9:00am
* Judging commences at 10am

A few weeks ago i posted asking for past winners to consider returning trophies won at the last show.
We have had a rather disappointing responce even from some who i contacted directly
Could those with trophies please get in-touch with their plan for return.
This is to avoid them becoming lost.

A most enjoyable day at the Eden Valley Poultry Club Championship Egg Show held in Great Musgrave Village Hall yesterday. The first poultry show the club held over 40 years ago was held here.

Liz Allonby was honoured and privileged to present our judge for the day, Mr Andrew Richardson with his Poultry Club Honorary Life Membership. Andrew has faithfully served the Orpington Club and Longridge and District Fanciers Association over many years as secretary.

We would like to thank all exhibitors and visitors who supported our show today. Congratulations to all winners.

Show Champion was Eddie Eastham from near Carlisle with 6 Brown Bantam Eggs. Eddie also won best Single Bantam Egg with an AOC Egg.
Reserve Show Champion was Christopher Ward of Lancaster with 6 Duck Eggs. Christopher also won Best Plate of Large Eggs with 3 Distinct Colours,Best Plate of Turkey Eggs and Best Single Turkey Egg.
Best Single Large Fowl Egg was Colin Booth of Durham with a Brown Egg.
Best Single Waterfowl Egg was D. Bentham and Son from near Southport with a Goose Egg.
Best Overall Contents was Peggy Cubbin from near Ormskirk with a Large Egg.
Best Painted/Decorated and Best Juvenile was Evelyn Ward, Lancaster.

Thank you, to the committee for supporting the show and to Rosie Addison for the delicious Refreshments.
It was not what we originally planned, but with the ban on bird gatherings, eggs was the only option.
It was good to meet up with fanciers from all over the north.
