A dull but DRY morning for the service of Holy Communion led by Charles today.

Cathy & James were on duty to welcome everyone into Church with hymn books and order of service . . . of which there were plenty unlike last week 😉📖

Charles used his ‘sermon time’ to talk us through the meaning of each stage of the service of Holy Communion as the service progressed.

Im sure we all learnt a Laal something along the way 👍

Today’s readings read by choir member Glenys and congregation member Sir Martin.

John led us in our prayers.

We had one bell ringer today Paul,from Church Brough who was on the TV last week 🎥

The Church Brough bells were in need of repair so Reuben Owen was called into make a replacement part for the Church Brough Church bells - and Paul,being a bell ringer was caught on camera on last weeks TV show 🎥

The choir may have been thin on the ground this week with only five members but did their best 🎶

Becky led the choir with the crucifix for the first time - thank you for stepping in Becky !!

A slate memorial plaque that had been hanging on the wall in Church since 1700’s was found fallen and shattered this morning.
The hanging hook had perished and given way 😟

~~~~~~~ TRINITY SUNDAY ~~~~~~~
Today’s service of Holy Communion was led by Charles.
We were welcomed at the door by Liz and John with both a warm smile,hymn books and order of services ( more to follow on that topic 😉)
Todays reading were read by choir member Elizabeth and congregation member Rick.
John led us in our prayers.
We had a choir of twelve today led by our choir mistress Cathy.
Thank you Martin for playing today on our new digital organ . . . built by Martin !!
~~~~~~~~~ NOTICES ~~~~~~~~~

The order of services were rather thin on the ground today - they must have been put in a very ‘safe place’ !!
This will be remedied by next Sunday.

There will be no Wednesday Drop-in Cafe this week 3rd June
BUT all back to normal service the following week 10th June.

June Parish News magazines available for collection at the back of Church.
There are always copies to purchase at 55p per copy 📘

Last evenings concert by the Herdwyck consort and CAMERATA 66
was a great success and a good amount towards the Organ Fund was raised . . . thank you to all who came along to support it.

Our wonderful Church organ is in need of some quite serious tender loving care,which comes at quite a cost !!!

This is where the new digital organ comes in as a back up to ease pressure on the Church organ whilst funds are raised for some serious restoration work.

Fund raising is happening - all & any contributions will by greatly received and appreciated !!!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday !!
