It's a joint night at Beavers this week for Bonfire night. Meeting tomorrow (Tue) at 6pm.

If there are any PVGd Beavers Parents who are able to stay and help provide more support this week as we are cooking, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Cub parents

Can Cubs please bring containers for soup this week?

It would be helpful if there are extra parents, especially on Wednesday, who are PVGd to provide more support this week as we are cooking.

Thanks

Cub parents - Panto visit

We have shared an invite with Cub parents about the Panto at Inverurie. We’ve had glitches with OSM because of the wind.

Can parents please check they have received an invite with a payment request also attached? Please comment below if you have not received an invite.

Please note, you may have received 2 invites but only one, the most recent, will be live.

Thanks

Just a reminder that Cubs start back tomorrow - Monday, 26 Oct. We’ll be starting off with some spooky games but no costumes required!

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

This week the Scouts spent Tuesday and Thursday putting recent weeks lessons into practice.

Using 6 figure grid references, compass and what3words, they used clues to find their way around Kintore collecting code letters.

The collection of letters were then decoded into “chip shop” where we ended with a tub of chips!!!

Thanks to Scout Leader Stevie for arranging again, and James, and also a big shout out to kintorefishbar for staying open with fresh chips for all the Scouts and leaders, especially Thursday after the rain!!!!

Huge thanks to the crew from Kintore Fire Station for showing the Beavers around the station and explaining about what they do. The Beavers had a great time asking loads of questions and exploring whats involved in being a fire fighter. A great way to end the term.

Thanks also to our parent helpers Sarah and Alyson.

Tuesday Beavers - a reminder we are meeting at Kintore Fire Station tonight!

This week Cubs have designed and built fires after planning the whole process themselves including what safety items they needed.

For next week is there any foreign language speaking parents with PVGs that wouldn’t mind helping Cubs learn some new skills?

It's Teddy Hospital this week at Beavers!

Inverurie First Responders will be joining us for some first aid sessions.

Please remember to bring your teddy!

We were at Willows Outdoor Learning tonight where the Beavers had a great time exploring everything on offer: den building, hammocks, woodwork and water play, all culminating in everyone's favourite activity - 'smores!

Huge thanks to our adult helpers Alyson and Nikki, Lisa from Willows and all the parents for driving across to Oldmedrum!
