Can you help ICP? We have run out of shopping bags! Do you have any spare bags that you could pass our way? We would be so very grateful, as would our members!

Thank you in advance for your assistance and support.

ICP are also supporting the Brunch & Blether at Garioch Community Kitchen, 11:30am to 1pm tomorrow. And what a treat for folks headed to this free event. Tullynessle Deer Farm will be there too.

If you haven't booked your space yet, hurry and do so; you don't want to miss out!

We are excited to share an upcoming event this Friday with our long-time partners at Garioch Community Kitchen

They host a wonderful free monthly Brunch and Blether on the first Friday of every month at Wyness Hall, Jackson Street, Inverurie, and this Friday 5th June is the next one, running from 11:30am
to 1pm.

We have partnered with them in the past as many of you will know, and this Friday we will be opening a stall at the event for anyone looking to come and have a chat, pick up some venison, and discover some great recipe ideas to take home.

Spaces are limited so booking is essential.
Head over to their website at

Looking for a way to brighten your day on a dreary Friday morning? Why not pop along to the FREE Community Cafe at the Inverurie Community Campus from 9:30am to 11:30am.

Come and meet new friends and connect with local community groups in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. ICP will be there tomorrow along with other groups so we look forward to sharing more about our work over a cuppa and a wee fine piece.

Hope to see you there!

Are you looking to connect with others? Are you wanting to find out more about what is happening in the community in a relaxed atmosphere?

Every Friday, there is a free Community Cafe at Inverurie Community Campus Leisure Centre. This cafe is a collaboration of many local organisations and groups.

Social isolation and loneliness is on the rise. This initiative is hoping to respond to this need in the community.

We hope many will come along and enjoy a chance for a blether and an informal catch up on what is going in the community over a cuppa.

Our next Saturday opening is at the end of this week. Pop along and see us on Saturday 6th June, 10:30am to 12:30pm.

The Youth and Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) empowers young people to make a difference in their communities. Each school is responsible for directing a grant of £3,000 to a local charity championed by its students. YPI was introduced to Scotland in 2008 by the Wood Foundation.

Back in March, ICP were invited to present at a Charity Fair in Meldrum Academy to YPI student groups with the possibility of being chosen as a charity to be championed. We were thrilled when 2 groups of students chose ICP! Through a programme of teamwork, research and competition, one group, Lucy Turner, Camryn Flockton and Leila Tate went on to win the overall Meldrum School competition!!

Last week, we were thrilled to be able to meet the girls and all the wonderful staff assisting with the YPI programme at the school, alongside school administration and management. The girls championed our cause and worked incredibly hard to achieve their success. What blew us away too was the teamwork demonstrated as part of this process as the other group of girls assisted the winning team, sharing research and collaborating to help the winning team with their final presentation.

We could not be prouder of all the girls and, of course, are absolutely thrilled to be presented with the £3,000 grant.
