Hull BID For a positively thriving city We are in touch with what businesses want and are ambitious, positive and dynamic.

Focused on results, we are passionate, self-confident and driven. We make decisions quickly and are able to move flexibly on many levels. We are articulate and visionary, and we have excellent business acumen. We measure our actions, adapting regularly to ensure effective outcomes. The reason we exist is to help businesses in the city sustainably grow and progress. In the past we have focused our

communications around individual activities. Moving forward we now organise our activity around four key strategic pillars, representing the important roles we have in facilitating the development of prosperity in Hull city centre. These strategic pillars remain constant irrespective of the actual activities. By staying true to our strategic pillars, we can adapt and change our tactical and operational plans to meet the changing needs of the business community, whilst maintaining a consistent strategic and communicative approach.

We’re delighted to introduce you to the HullBID Media Team, Jul, Mariia, and Lizzie — three talented final year students studying Marketing and Marketing Management at Hull University Business School, who share a real passion for our city and are excited to get involved and gain some incredible real-world experience along the way, with the support of HullBID.

Working alongside Francesca and the team at HullBID and Fannie Yeung, Director of Student Experience at Hull University Business School, the students will be an extended support to HullBID, its businesses and events, helping us tell the stories of the people, businesses and activities that make Hull such a brilliant place to work, live and visit.

And it’s not just about giving our Hull students valuable experience — HullBID businesses will benefit too. The team will be bringing fresh ideas, enthusiasm and a student perspective to our city centre, creating opportunities to showcase our businesses, promote what’s happening across the BID area and help shine a spotlight on the people behind the businesses.

We can’t wait to see what they create, following on from their introduction to Dino Day! 🦖📸

👀 Watch this space… There’s plenty more to come.

Please join us in giving our new HullBID Media Team a very warm welcome. 👋

A roar of approval and an exciting future ahead.

HullBID’s latest ballot result is a powerful vote of confidence from our city centre businesses, while the huge crowds at Dino Day show what can happen when we work together to put Hull city centre on the map.

A huge thank you from all of us at the HullBID team to every business that backed us, every partner who helped make it happen, and everyone who came along and made Dino Day such a roaring success.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’re achieving together — and there’s so much more to come!
