Take a Bow musical theatre group provide classes to children from 5-19yrs of age, we are non-discriminatory in our registration process and include children from various backgrounds and abilities. We endorse creativity, fun, learning and confidence building with safe professional practice within safe and accessible environments. We are based in Kilmarnock Ayrshire and have expanded into South Glas
gow to provide a class for children with profound special needs and it is our aim to further extend to include a wider radius within Ayrshire and East Renfrewshire. Our organisation is non-profit making and is run by a management committee. Our aim is to introduce children to musical theatre with singing, dancing and acting through weekly term time classes leading to a full scale production on a fully professional working stage. We also have introduced Easter and summer holiday daily workshops each lasting a week which condenses all aspects of stage arts culminating in a showcase. Classes are provided by qualified and experienced tutors in all principals of the arts, I.e. Our committee members and volunteers are selected for their contributory skills and receive no fees for their time and input. We currently produce 9 shows throughout the year. Additional opportunities are provided to children to appear in satellite performances within the local area in community events, this allows our members to work alongside other children, adults and professionals from the arts. We rely currently on fundraising events to help subsidise our annual costs and this is all currently managed by our management team and committee. We endorse inclusion for all with a policy of a small termly fee for participants and low cost tickets for our audiences. The majority of our income is used to produce future shows to a highly professional quality.
