Chaps Choir & The Growing Singers
Saturday 17th October, 7pm at Brewery Arts, Kendal
Join us for a joyful evening of music, laughter and glorious harmonies as London’s Chaps Choir joins Kendal’s own Growing Singers for a special fundraising concert in support of Growing Well.
Expect everything from familiar songs and pop re-workings to a ca****la harmonies, with plenty of humour and perhaps the occasional tear of joy along the way.
Founded in 2013, Chaps Choir is a London-based singing community known for its eclectic, uplifting repertoire and energetic performances. They have performed at major venues including the Royal Festival Hall, Roundhouse and Union Chapel, as well as on television and at Abbey Road.
The Growing Singers are the much-loved Kendal community choir, founded in 2023 by Claire Elleray Mee and Rachael Wadey. They combine well-known favourites with less familiar gems, bringing together harmony, great fun and a strong sense of community. They are also very good friends and long-standing supporters of Growing Well.
