Who fancies joining us next week? ‘A wickedly funny, award-nominated West End musical packed with magic, mischief, powerhouse female characters, fabulous music and plenty of theatrical mayhem!’

And honestly, for KAOS after Beauty and the Beast, we feel it’s a brilliant choice. It gives our adults/young people something completely different — much more grown-up, cheeky and sophisticated, with three fantastic female leads at its heart (whoever they may be). 🧙‍♀️🔥

A Rose for Rosie 🌹

It was only fitting that Rose should be presented with a rose, after all! 🌹❤️

Rose has given so many years of dedication, talent and love to KAOS, and she is truly one of the special people who have helped make the company what it is today.

Rose was a member of KAOS many years ago, with her first show believed to have been Tulip Time in 1963! A few years later Jacqueline (her daughter) joined the dancers, and Rosie was helping Anne Lowrie at that point with the many exciting costumes. When Anne eventually stepped down, Rosie took over as our wardrobe mistress— possibly around the time of Fiddler on the Roof in 1997.

Her talents certainly didn’t stop there. Rose made all the costumes for The Mikado in 2000, and of course who could forget Nunsense in 2020, that was sadly a show that we could only perform once (due to COVID) and Rose has never forgotten that amazing performance. Her nuns outfits were spectacular 🎭

After so many years of commitment, hard work and friendship, it is only right that Rose is recognised for her amazing commitment and she is of course now a Lifetime Member of KAOS. ❤️

Thank you, Rose, for everything you have given to KAOS over the years. We are incredibly lucky to have you as part of our KAOS family. 🌹🎭❤️

We want to wish some of our amazing KAOS youngsters the very best of luck this week as they take part in Berwick Musical Theatre Summer School Singfest! 🎭🎶

We hope you have an incredible week, learn lots, make wonderful memories and, most importantly, have loads of fun! ❤️

We can’t wait to hear all about it and see how you all get on. Go smash it, guys! 🌟👏

Last night, some of us had the absolute pleasure of going along to surprise one of our much-loved cast members, Sadie, as she celebrated her 70th birthday! 🎉

Many of you will also know her as the one and only Sadie's Shed– a name that’s become just as legendary as she is! ❤️

We had the best time celebrating with you and feel so lucky to have been part of such a special evening. Thank you for letting us share in your big night.

From everyone at KAOS Musical Theatre Company we wish you the happiest of 70th birthdays. Here’s to many more years of laughter, friendship, music and making wonderful memories together.

Yesterday we were delighted to be collecting donations in the parade for Kelso Civic Week. We loved being part of the parade and hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did.

We absolutely love watching your incredible dancers perform, and we are especially proud of those who bring their amazing talent and passion to KAOS Musical Theatre Company. Their skill, professionalism, and stage presence are a true credit to the training and opportunities they receive with you at .

A special thank you to Michelle for all that you do. Your dedication, guidance, and commitment to your dancers help shape them into the outstanding performers they are today, and we are so grateful for everything you invest in them.
