😄 What a night!

👏 Keighley Lions Club was absolutely delighted, honoured and privileged to have hosted our annual Presentation Evening where we brought together many of the community legends who we have supported over the last year.

⛪ Hosted by All Nations Church, we had well over 60 guests in attendance including groups such as Nebula Girls, the Scouts, Oakworth Toad Patrol, Keighley Horticultural Society, Airedale Hospital Community Charity as well as brilliant individuals such as Charlotte Wilson, Lucy Ellerton and local Cllrs and supporters.

❤️ Throughout the night, we were so happy to hear from all those who we have helped through our grant funding and the impact which our contributions will make to their local causes.

🏆 Certificates of appreciation were handed out too and went to individuals such as new Lion Graham Burgess and the Town Council and Town Councillors to thank them for supporting the sleigh rebuild. Eric was celebrated for his long standing service as a Lion.

🥧 We also tucked into some gorgeous pies and peas provided by Barnes of Keighley and other refreshments.

🥰 In short, we cannot thank everyone in attendance enough for everything you do and will continue to do for our community. We thank everyone who made the night possible such as Lion President Ruth, Vice President Robert, Lion Secretary Julie and the rest of our Pride of Lions and volunteers including Shona, Richard and Jill who prepared and served the food. Massive thanks also must go to All Nations Church who remain fantastic hosts.

🌟 It has been absolutely amazing Lionistic year and this was very much a culmination of all the brilliance our team of Lions, Friends and supporters have achieved.

😄 It's the second most wonderful time of the year as Santa starts his Summer Holidays with a series of trips around local galas and similarly, sizzling summer events.

🏰 His first visit was to the marvellous, market town of Skipton for their annual gala which was absolutely incredible.

🛷 As you will see, his sleigh has gone through some renovations and is already looking fab despite not being fully completed yet. We can't wait for the rest of work to be done and have some big thanks to make once it is.

👏 Meanwhile, thank you to Lions - President Ruth, Vice President Robert, Luke and Graham for supporting the procession. Also, big THANKS to Graham for being Mr Clause and for supporting the technical-side of the sleigh as we were keen to iron out any glitches and bugs during its first outing.

We just wanted to give a big shout out to Keighley Lions Club for giving us a grant of £300 which will be used to buy some microscopes and to Bradford Council SEND Short breaks for giving us a grant of £4,976.00 to fund our activities for the next 6 months.

⭐ We’re sending a huge thank you to Keighley Lions Club for raising an incredible £2,706 through their Grand Raffle in support of our Emergency Department Appeal.

Their wonderful volunteers dedicated months to sourcing raffle prizes and selling tickets at venues across the local community – we are so grateful to every one of them👏

We’d also like to say a big thank you to every local business who donated a prize for the raffle, and to everyone who bought a ticket. Your kindness helped make the raffle such a success🧡
