We are deeply saddened by the incident at this year's event. We send our condolences and prayers to all those involved and affected. Our prayers especially for the families involved and to our partners in the Big Church Festival team.

We are devastated by the serious incident that took place at Big Church Festival 2026 today, in which a sign fell, injuring at least seven people, one of whom tragically lost their life.

First and foremost, all of our thoughts are with those who have been affected, their families and friends, and everyone who witnessed what happened.

Following today’s incident, we have made the decision to bring Big Church Festival 2026 to a close.

Help shape the future of Christian residential ministry!

Rock UK are delighted to support a new national research project exploring the impact of Christian residential experiences across the UK, and we'd be pleased to invite you to complete the survey.

Have you ever been on a Christian or church camp, a church family retreat, a youth group weekend away as a participant or volunteer or perhaps work with or volunteer with schools or youth groups?
Maybe you would like to but don't know how...

Christian Residential Network are undertaking an extensive research to understand the impact to these residential trips and the barriers that stop groups or individuals attending.
