We are walking distance from town, in Fitzwilliam Street, close to Wilko, behind EPT gym (off Duck Street & Wellingborough Road)
RUSH 2The DEN is run by volunteers. Yes ALL of the 'staff' are volunteering their time effort and energy helping to prove this much needed opportunity for families in Rushden, Higham and the surrounding areas. We have limited resources and rely heavily on the very genero

us donations of time, equipment and money to make this possible. All our volunteers are DBS checked with years of experience working with children and young adults. YOUTH CLUBS
Regular age specific Youth Clubs in the evenings run throughout the year with the exception of bank holidays and Christmas holidays. During the daytime tots & pre-school children and their adults are able to enjoy daily activities with refreshments and a chat. BABIES, TOTS & ADULTS
Our Babies,Tots and Adults are open from 9.15am to 2.45pm for you to drop in and enjoy your quality time with your little ones around your routine. We aim to make all our Babies, Tots and Adult sessions accessible to all ages. Dad's Stay N Play is the first Saturday of each month followed by our very popular Swap Shop

In addition to our regular programme, Holiday Clubs are available and special events too. Some of our special events include:
Bike Maintenance Workshop
Parents First Aid Courses
Christmas Craft Fayre
Help with homework/coursework also available upon request.

Free entry, please bring any good condition clothes and baby items that your little ones have grown out of and no longer need, and why not swap for something new whilst you're at it.

Unfortunately we are unable to accept donations of toys this month due to our ongoing building works.

Leading up to the longest day of the year, join us on Saturday 20th June for a new celebration inspired by one of the oldest seasonal traditions in the calendar - Summer Solstice - a time of gathering, creativity and celebration of the natural world.

From 12-8pm, discover living history with The Longthorpe Legion Roman Camp and The Bifrost Guard Viking Camp, explore ancient and modern pagan traditions with Northampton Pagans, and learn more about the customs and beliefs that have surrounded midsummer for centuries.

Enjoy drop-in crafts to make your own solstice decorations - corn and raffia dolly making with Windhover Crafts and embossed sunshine crafting with Tales from the fen, both running until 6pm.

(Embossed decoration workshops are pre-bookable, with limited spaces available on the day.)

Watch traditional craft demos throughout the day, and learn to play the medieval strategy game Nine Men's Morris with Illuminato

As the sun lingers, make the most of a rare chance to enjoy Stanwick Lakes into the evening. With the site open late, there'll be plenty of opportunities to soak up the midsummer atmosphere, with evening workshops, food and drink from the Visitor Centre, and other special experiences including a Solstice night swim...

We’re sorry to let you know that our upcoming Mindfulness Courses have been cancelled.

We understand that some of you were looking forward to attending, and we sincerely apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause.
