Good afternoon, As you are aware 2 of the young people connected to the group, have been selected to attend the world scout jamboree in 2027.

This Saturday they will be completing the 25km Waendle Walk to help with their fundraising.

All the leaders and young leaders have been hard at work this evening planning exciting activities for the upcoming term (fueled by pizza) 🍕 🏕️ thanks to everyone volunteering their time to keep our group running and delivering Scouting to so many young people🔥

This Evening we had the pleasure of presenting the big cheque to Higham 2nd Scouts, who joined us in December for one of our Santa sleigh collections and absolutely smashed it!
The group plan on using the money to purchase some new tents and other camping equipment.

🏕️ Gear Up! We’re Looking for a Volunteer Quartermaster! 🛠️
Do you love a good checklist? Are you the master of the "everything in its place" lifestyle? Our Scout Group needs a Quartermaster to help manage the kit that makes our adventures happen!
The Role:
Keep our camping gear (tents, stoves, etc.) organized and ready for action.
Check equipment in/out for weekend trips.
Coordinate simple repairs to keep our kit in top shape.
The Commitment:
Very flexible! Just a few hours a month at our local HQ. It’s a perfect "behind-the-scenes" role if you want to support Scouting without wearing a uniform or leading activities every week.
Why Help?
You’ll be the unsung hero ensuring our Scouts stay safe, dry, and fed in the great outdoors. No prior Scouting experience needed—just a knack for organisation!
