Higham Ferrers Tourism are holding their annual Horticultural Show on Saturday 12 September and are hoping to increase the number of children’s entries.

There are junior classes in growing, baking and crafts that can help count towards some of our badges too (plus keep your children entertained over the summer practicing!)

It’s free for under 16s to enter, with certificates for first, second and third in class and a cup for best in section.

It has been a week since the Mayor, Cllr Chris O'Rourke, and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Gerald Kelly had the honour of attending the 2nd Higham Ferrers Scouts AGM. It was a warm, sunny evening and a warm welcome 🌞 The AGM was a celebration of everything the group has achieved over the last year, supporting the young people of Higham Ferrers from the age of four upwards!

Good afternoon, As you are aware 2 of the young people connected to the group, have been selected to attend the world scout jamboree in 2027.

This Saturday they will be completing the 25km Waendle Walk to help with their fundraising.
