I'm currently busy planning the next Supper Club and I can not contain myself, I want to scream it from the roof tops 📢 but I can't there are still a couple of details that need to be confirmed then I can create the ticket page and shout about it until you're so sick of me you have to come to shut me up 😁

Each Supper club is intentionally crafted to get important information in the mind of the every day women who think they are too (insert self deprecating insult here) to be able to do the thing, take the step and be more of who they already are.

I hope those who were unable to make the first one where we spoke about money and how to start investing, saving that emergency fund and securing your own future. Are able to come to this next one where we will be talking about a subject that some may see as taboo and may want absolutely nothing to do with it but we will all experience it so that is why I am creating a whole evening around it because I truly feel if we understand it more we can live fuller in the knowledge that the admin is sorted, the party is organised and the secrets will either stay hidden or be revealed in the most delightful way.

The save the date post will be coming soon so keep your eyes on the socials and the website

On Saturday I held my first stall at the BME Black history month celebration and it was an engaging day. I really enjoyed talking to everyone about what I building and the massive dream of building a physical village but also the importance for everyone to have a support system in place.
Women deserve to be listened to, seen and understood we go through so much and fight to receive so little but still we move forward and care for others.

The joy of collective is a community for women to come together, be themselves and build their own village. I truly see that happening and cannot wait for the day where I am sharing news about opening a hub. If I keep saying it and working towards it, it will happen as it is so needed.

Wicker
Go watch it immediately! It was such a hilarious, heartfelt film

I love that as a community we went together giving women the opportunity to watch a film with company as many do not feel comfortable going to the cinema alone.
We've had a run of good films and I look forward to whatever we get up to next.

Last night we had a Potluck craft night and it truly was one of the reasons why I created The Joy of Collective. The vibe, the togetherness, the laughs.
I organise intentional meet-ups so women can connect with other women and form relationships, support each other, feel seen, heard, and understood.

One of our OG community members generously offered her skills, her absolutely stunning home and craft supplies and we had such a warm evening bonding over the weird things we do when we go places, the popular things we are meant to like but we don't partake in, talking about loved ones who are no longer here, parenting, being childless by choice, how society has changed and its impact and much more.
It was a much needed night of light, dark humour, creativity, and cuddles with a dog.
There is a book missing from these pictures, which was also stunning. Everyone was so creative with their makes and we thoroughly enjoyed this introduction to book folding.

Everyone brought a dish or snacks and nobody disappointed the chocolate cake was moist and delicious, the chicken and rice was flavourful, the snacks and dip were top tier. I now how a new bougie chip to add to my fave list.

This has given me that confirmation of you're doing the right thing keep going. One day I will have a hub that can become a third space along the village with community garden and creative studio so that we can grow our own food, make our own breads, soaps, candles etc and know exactly where everything has come from and have a big community space where we can come together be ourselves and learn from each other.

There will be more Potluck craft nights for sure.

Cake and Connect: Candle making with KiKi's House Candles & Wax Melts

Sunday 15th November 2-4pm at Hank's
We will be getting our creative on by making some winter inspired scented candles.
If you fancy a couple of hours creating something for yourself or a loved one, while being in the company of like minded women tickets are available via the linktree in the bio.

The Joy of Collective is a community for women to connect with other women and build their own village while learning to be a villager themselves.

With our meet-ups women show up by themselves and are welcomed warmly. It can be daunting going somewhere alone but once there hopefully you feel welcomed, included and part of the community.
