💛 Hep C Micro-Elimination – Progress in Action
We’re making real progress towards eliminating Hep C in our community:
✅ Testing 30–45 people every week
✅ Everyone offered a test
✅ 95% of people who test positive supported into treatment
You can support Hep C micro-elimination by getting tested, sharing information, and encouraging others to access support.
We work closely with Viral Hepatology nurses from Norfolk & Norwich, James Paget, Addenbrooke’s, and Ipswich Hospital, who run monthly clinics at our hubs to support engagement in treatment. This activity is coordinated through the Operational Delivery Network (ODN) based at Addenbrooke’s.
In addition, The Hepatitis C Trust provides dedicated workers who support individuals to attend appointments, connect with services, and begin treatment.

💚 Mental Health Awareness Week – Day 5 💚
Taking action also means creating change at every level.
This week is a reminder that good mental health should be supported everywhere — in our communities, services, and systems. That’s why there is a national call for policymakers to prioritise mental health and substance use support, ensuring everyone can access the help they need, when they need it.
At Suffolk Drug and Alcohol Service, we see firsthand the importance of accessible, compassionate support. Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a story that deserves to be heard.
🚪 Our door is always open.
While we continue to support individuals every day, we also stand behind the wider call for ongoing investment, understanding, and action to improve mental health and recovery services for all.
💬 Today’s action could be:
• Learning more about mental health and substance use support
• Raising awareness of the importance of accessible services
• Supporting conversations that reduce stigma and promote change
Together, small actions and bigger changes can make a lasting difference.
