A little update from me…

I wanted to share a bit about what’s been happening behind the scenes at The Next Step Collective CIC.

Right now, I’m working on putting together funding applications so we can start offering free and accessible support for women in our community, the kind of support that so many women need, but often can’t access.

Everything we’re building is focused on helping women:
✨ rebuild confidence
✨ improve mental wellbeing
✨ learn new skills
✨ feel less isolated
✨ and find their way back into work, community and life

I’ve had so many conversations with women who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like they’ve lost their confidence after life changes ,whether that’s motherhood, illness, loss, redundancy or just trying to do everything alone.

And what keeps coming up is this:
👉 it’s not lack of ability
👉 it’s lack of support, connection and opportunity

That’s exactly what I want to change.

We’re creating safe, welcoming spaces where women can feel supported, learn at their own pace, and take that next step, without pressure or judgement.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more about what’s coming, and how you can get involved.... whether that’s taking part, supporting, or simply following along.

I’m currently applying for funding to create FREE support programmes for women in our community, focused on confidence, mental health, skills and connection.
But to make this happen, I need real input from women who would benefit.

Through The Next Step Collective CIC, we want to offer free memberships to The Brave Business Club, free courses, and free networking opportunities to women who have been pushed to the margins through no fault of their own.

Women who have:
been out of work due to grief or loss
lived with long-term illness or disability
been made redundant
struggled with mental health
taken extended time away from work or community life
felt isolated, forgotten, or left behind

For many of these women, confidence has taken a huge hit.... and so has access.

Access to learning.
Access to support.
Access to community.
Access to opportunity.

Without funding, these opportunities simply aren’t available to them.

What Your Donation Makes Possible

Your support helps us provide:
Free memberships to supportive business and learning communities
Free courses that rebuild confidence and practical skills
Free networking opportunities that reduce isolation and reconnect women to others
Safe, welcoming spaces where women feel they belong again

A route back into work, business, and community life
These are not “nice extras”.

For many women, they are the difference between staying stuck and moving forward.

Why We Need Your Help
Women who’ve experienced loss, illness, redundancy or long-term mental health challenges are often expected to “just get back on with it”.

But rebuilding confidence, identity and direction takes time, support, and community and that support needs funding.

we can’t offer free places
we can’t remove financial barriers
we can’t reach the women who need this most
