Have you seen our Autumn window? We’re bursting with gorgeous pre-loved Autumn & Winter clothing — from cosy coats, wool scarves and hats to boots, bags and knitwear. Sustainable style that doesn’t cost the earth!
Every item sold fights for mental health in our local community.

🎄 CHRISTMAS IS COMING TO STOWMARKET MIND! 🎄 Can you help?
We're starting to get ready for our Christmas shop and we need YOUR help!
We are now gratefully accepting donations of:
✨ Christmas Decorations - baubles, lights, tinsel, tree ornaments, wreaths, anything festive!
✨ Bric-a-brac - ornaments, vases, picture frames, crockery, small household items and hidden treasures
If you’re having a pre-Christmas clear out, please think of us. Your unwanted bits and bobs could help fund vital mental health support in our community.
What is Gift Aid and why does it matter?
If you are a UK taxpayer, you can Gift Aid your donation at no extra cost to you. It means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 your items sell for from HMRC. So if your bag of donations sells for £40, we get an extra £10!
It only takes 30 seconds to sign up in the shop - just bring proof of address and we’ll do the rest. You only need to sign up once.
We make it easy for you - We are OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK to accept donations, so just pop in whenever suits you.

🍂 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - JOIN OUR LOVELY TEAM! 🍂
Could you spare a few hours a week to make a real difference?
We are Stowmarket Mind Charity Shop, 14-16 Ipswich Street and we are looking for new volunteers to join our fun, friendly and lovely team!
If you love fashion, being creative, and chatting to people, we would love to hear from you.
You could help with:
✨ Merchandising & styling our displays
✨ Window dressing (like our Cosy Season autumn windows pictured!)
✨ Sorting & processing donations
✨ Retail & customer service on the till
No experience needed — just enthusiasm and a few hours a week. It's a great way to meet people, learn new skills, and be part of a wonderful community shop. Just look at how beautiful our shop looks thanks to our volunteers!

We campaign to improve services, raise awareness and fight stigma, and our shops raise vital funds to provide mental health support right here in Suffolk.
