Thank you so much to everyone who attended Hearts Together 2026. It was amazing to see you all together, sharing stories, supporting each other and reminding us why we do what we do.

It wouldn't have been possible without our incredible speakers, sponsors and volunteers. So much time, effort and care went into making the event happen, and we've been overwhelmed by all the lovely feedback.

This post is simply a thank you to everyone involved, and especially to our patients, who are at the heart of the charity.

A special thank you to:

❤️ Our amazing speakers, who shared invaluable information and support with patients and their loved ones

💙 Our volunteer photographer and videographers for capturing the day

❤️ Our goody bag sponsors

💙 Our Travel Insurance provider for sponsoring the morning refreshments

❤️ Evolve Business Solutions, for sponsoring the printing of our delegate pack materials

We'll be sharing more highlights from Hearts Together over the coming weeks, and we hope to see you again next year.

The SHF Team ❤️

This morning Dr Eleanor Joy, Consultant in Adult Congenital Heart Disease at
Leeds General Infirmary spoke about Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) and the important role it plays in helping people with ACHD better understand their health.

CPET is an exercise test that measures how the heart, lungs and muscles work together during physical activity, helping healthcare teams provide personalised care and support to those living with ACHD so they can lead active, fulfilling lives.

Thank you Dr Joy for an informative session ❤️
