📢 We’re Hiring – Business Support Officer 📢
Citizens Advice Ipswich is looking for an enthusiastic and well‑organised Business Support Officer to join our friendly and growing team!
This is a key office‑based role, supporting our day‑to‑day operations and helping our staff and volunteers focus on delivering high‑quality advice to the local community.
🔹 Salary: £26,897 per annum (pro rata)
🔹 Hours: 22.5–30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
🔹 Location: Ipswich (office based)
You’ll provide essential business and administrative support, maintain accurate records, help manage office systems and facilities and act as a welcoming first point of contact for colleagues and visitors. We’re looking for someone proactive, highly organised and confident using Microsoft Office, who enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
✅ Experience supporting teams in an office environment and in a customer‑facing role is desirable.

Following induction, you will begin as a First Contact Adviser, identifying clients’ immediate needs and directing them to the most appropriate support 📞➡️ With training and experience, you will progress into a Generalist Adviser role, providing more in‑depth advice. You will work flexibly across both roles as required.
